The Grade 12 board exams have officially started from today, Baishakh 14, 2083, across Nepal. The exams are being conducted by the National Examination Board (NEB).
This year 4,18,008 are taking part in the exams. Out of them, 3,32,178 students are appearing as regular candidates, while 85,830 thousand are giving partial exams.
The exams are being held in 1,421 centers across Nepal, along with one center in Japan. Kathmandu has the highest number of exam centers, while districts like Manang and Mustang have only one center each.
Students from all provinces are participating, with Bagmati Province having the highest number of examinees.
NEB has said that all preparations have been completed, and arrangements are in place to make sure the exams run smoothly and fairly.
