About Class 11
Class 11 is the first year of Nepal's +2 (NEB) programme, and this page is the entry point to both of its streams — Science and Management. Whichever direction you choose, the year is foundational: it introduces the core concepts that Class 12 builds on directly, without a board exam of its own to force the pace. Because Class 11 has no NEB board exam, past papers here are lighter than in the final year, but entrance exams like IOE, CEE and CSIT increasingly draw on Class 11 content — so keeping up still matters. Is there a board exam at the end of Class 11?
No — NEB doesn't hold a board exam at the end of Class 11. Entrance exams like IOE, CEE and CSIT increasingly draw on Class 11 content though, so it's worth revising chapter by chapter rather than saving everything for Class 12.
What's the difference between Class 11 Science and Management?
Science covers Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology (with Computer Science added in Class 12) for students aiming at engineering, medical and IT entrance exams. Management covers Accounting, Economics, Business Studies and related subjects for students aiming at BBA, BBS and commerce careers.
