Class 11 and Class 12 Class Operation
As per the calendar:
Class 12: Classes will begin from Jestha 15, 2083.
Class 11: Classes will begin from Ashar 9, 2083.
The schedule provides schools with a common timeline for beginning the academic activities of both grades.
Subject Registration for Class 11
NEB has also included a timeline for the subject registration process of newly admitted Class 11 students. Schools will provide students with the subject registration form and complete the online entry and submission process within the specified deadlines.
The registration process includes form distribution, form submission, online entry and submission of required softcopy and hardcopy documents to the concerned NEB office.
Class 12 Examination Application
The academic calendar sets out the timeline for the Class 12 annual examination application process.
The examination application forms will be distributed from Poush 9, 2083. Students are required to submit their examination forms within the prescribed deadline.
The calendar specifies:
Regular-fee deadline: Poush 30, 2083
Late-fee deadline: Magh 15, 2083
Online entry and submission of softcopy/hardcopy: By Magh 22, 2083
Schools are required to complete the necessary procedures within the dates set by NEB.
Examination Preparation and Routine
NEB has scheduled several activities ahead of the annual examinations, including question-paper preparation, examination-center determination and publication of the examination timetable.
The annual examination timetable is scheduled to be published by Falgun 15, 2083, while examination-center determination will also take place according to the timeline prescribed in the calendar.
The calendar further includes arrangements for practical/internal assessments and the submission of practical examination records.
Class 11 and Class 12 Annual Examinations
The annual examination schedule covers both Class 11 and Class 12. The Class 12 annual examination will be conducted first, followed by the Class 11 annual examination.

Result Publication
The academic calendar has also established timelines for publication of examination results.
According to the schedule, the Class 12 annual examination result is targeted to be published by the first week of Ashar 2084.

Retotaling
Students who wish to apply for retotaling will also have a designated period.
Retotaling application: Within the second week of Ashar 2084
Retotaling result: Within the second week of Shrawan 2084

Pre-Requisite Course Examination
The calendar also includes a separate schedule for the Pre-Requisite Course. It covers registration, examination application, examination conduction, result publication and grade-increment examination.
The Pre-Requisite Course examination is scheduled to be conducted from Bhadra 14 to Ashoj 20, 2083, with the result scheduled for publication within the first week of Ashoj 2083.
